Refund Policy

Access to the Stratum private beta is currently free. Nothing is charged, so no refunds arise. The terms below apply from the day paid subscriptions become available, and we'll note that date here when it happens.

You can cancel a monthly subscription at any time, and cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period: you keep access until then, and you won't be charged again. We don't refund the current month once it has been billed, except where the Australian Consumer Law requires it (section 4).

Annual subscriptions are generally not refundable once billed, except where the Australian Consumer Law requires it (section 4). If unforeseen or extenuating circumstances mean an annual subscription no longer makes sense for you, contact us and we will consider a refund of the unused portion case by case, in good faith.

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in this policy limits those rights. In particular:

• If there is a major failure with the service, you are entitled to cancel and receive a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value.
• If there is a minor failure, we are entitled to fix it within a reasonable time; if we can't, you may cancel and obtain a refund for the unused portion.

If you believe the service has failed to meet a consumer guarantee, contact us at hello@stratumskin.app with the details and we will work through it with you promptly.

If a subscription includes a free trial, you can cancel any time before the trial ends and you won't be charged.

Cancel from your account settings in the app, or email hello@stratumskin.app from your account email. We'll confirm your cancellation and the date it takes effect.

If we change this policy, we'll post the updated version here with a new effective date. Changes don't affect refund rights that have already arisen.
